Magic Act

Today I met at the church with the pastor's wife and a couple of church ladies to make decorations for our upcoming ladies brunch at the end of April. One of the things we were doing was decorating little hats with ribbons and flowers and then putting a magnet on the back. We were doing all this with glue guns.

I know now a magician's trick. The glue would create a very thin string still attached to the hat and to my fingers, so when I put the hat down or tossed it into a box, it would move seemingly of its own accord back toward my hand.

Good times. I may go on the road!

You should. And I want you to wear a sequin/bedazzled dress. Something shockingly colorful. Like red with orange flames at the bottom...

I have one of those hats on my fridge. Did we make those when you were here?

Jen, that dress would help the act I'm sure. Moms, yes we did make those little hats when I was there. Good memories.
