A New Dog

We are getting a dog! It's a fairly large chihuahua mixed with something else. It's red with eyes that are the same color as his fur. My husband and I picked him out on Saturday, but then we couldn't buy him because we didn't have a note from our duplex owner saying we could have a dog in the house. We received that note today by fax and now we are getting the dog.

Tomorrow afternoon we are going to pick him up after he has been "fixed." He will be pretty uncomfortable for a while. We have church on Thursday night, so we won't be home with him in the evening. Our son will be here, so that will be good. Then the next day we all will be gone to work. I wish we could have gotten him Friday evening, but that didn't work out.

He's very cute. We really didn't get to spend much time with him, but I think he has a good personality. He's an adult dog--it seems like he was about three years old. Our lives will change. It makes me a little nervous. (;>

I hope none of you think you're the boss of the house!

They are cute, though.

What's his name?

Did it feel weird at your age and station to have to "get a note"?

Aw. I'm so glad you got another doggy! He'll probably cry when you're not there. Just make sure he has a place that's his own and hopefully he'll get attached to it in time. I'll bet he's cute.

Name him Chili, or Put Put, or El Diablo (however you spell it) or El Torro! Or Franklin. Name him Franklin Trouble B. Hey, this friend I have just had a baby boy a few months ago, and her husband said they (he) seriously considered naming him Seth Trouble S. I said it would be cool, but they named his middle name different that I will gladly tell you in a private e-mail if you want to know.

Name his "HORSE", per our previous conversation.

I agree with Moms. Horse or Horsey. How is he??

PICS, PLEASE!

As the current owner of a large, old chihuahua mix, I hereby declare, prepare to have your lap sat upon.

Also, kay day is right on, a new boss is in the house.

I've watched those little guys at the dog park. They think they rule. Really. I've seen them take on Great Danes. They seem to have no concept of their actual size.
But I know you guys. Well, I know G, and I'm really not to worried about that dog taking over.

You all are funny, and I don't just mean funny ha ha. We hope to have pictures at sometime. We've named the dog Riley. When you look at him straight on, he looks like Dobby on Henry Potter.
