What's all this about lying in the bed and on the floor and in the backyard? Dirrrty mom.

But when you want to get a suntan, isn't that called laying out? I want to go lay out, want to go with me?
I know it isn't proper, but isn't it the culturally correct term?

BTW, I'll be sending you my book. I'm terrible at grammar.

I'm just not saying nothing! My brain refuses to learn anything new tonight. To announce to all my loved ones...I have ordered a grammer book and writer handbook. I hope this will stretch my brain in the right direction.

Still giving grammar lessons, eh? One of your old student is still skimming over them. Some things never change. : )

I don't think I've ever heard anyone use "I have lain on the floor". I don't know if anyone talks that way! You are such a good teacher. I am going to be paying particular attention if we see you at the reunion! :>} I write these things okay, but I don't always speak them okay. <:) Boy, I should have used properly instead of okay. Right! I wonder why the word lie is also used for a false statement? xxxooo
