Early Voting

Yesterday was the last day for early voting. I got to the voting place about 3:30, and I chose to vote electronically rather than on paper. What I didn't know when I chose the electronic vote was that there were only three computers. I could see that there were many, many places to stand to vote with paper, but the line was probably ten times as long. Well, I got in line behind about 12 people at the computers. I had to wait a very long time to get to vote.

Now it's done, and because I had to wait so long, I feel like I was tortured a little for my right to vote as an American. It sorta made me happy to pay that price.

I hope and pray that the outcome of the presidential election will not start America on a road of change that we will regret and that we cannot turn back from.

I hope the results of this election will not take us down the road of change to even bigger government involvement in our lives. We voted by mail-in ballot and just dropped the ballots off at the county clerk's office.

Ditto to you both...

I voted early also and I'm so glad that I did. Fortunately for me there was a wait of zero seconds. I was the only one there at the time. With how I'm feeling now, I'm so glad I did. I doubt I'd have the endurance to stand in line for 10 minutes let alone the over two hours they are predicting for my polling place.

Pray I feel better soon - its an allergy upper respiratory thing and a no voice, stuffy nose, hurting ears, etc...

Moms, that's the road I'm talking about along with a number of other things.

Robin, I'm sorry you are not feeling well. When you are pregnant, you don't need any other problems.

I'll be voting tomorrow. After everything is said and done, all we can do is pray God's will.

I wish we had early voting here. It seems like MD is one of the few states that doesn't offer it. I was up extra early and still spent over an hour in line. It rained later on that day and I felt bad for those waiting in long line in the MD/VA/DC area.
