Accidents

A while back I broke something in the shower. I now have to call the owner of our duplex. Then this past Friday, I dumped all the excess ice out of the icemaker. When I went to turn the thing back on, I must have accidentally hooked the lever that moves up and down to pour out the ice under the edge of the icemaker. I guess the motor got worn out trying to work. Now it won't work. I have to call the owner of our duplex.

A couple of weeks ago, my husband was playing a game with the kids in our Master's Club at church. It was a relay race that required going to the opposite end of the room with a flat bean bag on the head (the interesting part was that my husb and the other man playing had to move with their heads and hands at very odd angles). Well, my husband was hurrying, got his feet caught somehow and fell full frontal on the floor. It knocked the wind out of him. He stayed on the floor for several minutes trying to catch his breath while all the kids were standing around him. He scraped his elbow, and I think his ribs were a little sore the next day. But he survived and continued playing the game. Hero!

Then on Friday the husband was out in the parking lot at work checking out the Mountain Man Fruit and Nuts, and he was hanging onto a bar or handle of some kind, and it slipped and hit his knee really hard. He decided he may have broken his knee cap or something because he was in tremendous pain. He ended up going to the doctor who said, yes he hurt himself, but nothing too drastic. And oh, yes, he has arthritis in three places around that knee.

Well, here are our conclusions. He thinks I break things, and he doesn't really like that. I think he hurts himself, and I don't really like that. But we aren't bored.
