Hats Off to You

I'm helping to plan a ladies brunch for my church for the end of April. Our theme is "Hats Off to You." We will talk about all the hats a woman/mother wears in her lifetime, and then we will talk about some of the hats God wears as the Father, the Savior, the Lamb, the Light, the Shepherd, the Resurrection, the Life--I haven't decided yet exactly which ones.

Well, I said all that to say this. Does anyone want to send me any hats or pictures of hats? We are going to use straw hats decorated with flowers and ribbons along with hat boxes as centerpieces. We are going to make little refrigerator magnets out of small straw hats. Anyway, I need a couple of old-fashioned hats to pin to a bulletin board or to put on side tables. Any possibilities?

I love to plan events for ladies meetings. At some point in my life I may compile some of the programs I've done into a book. This may be just wishful thinking. We'll see.
